Hey all. I'm new to this forum. And this is my first post!
Im having some issues with my baby porcupine puffer. He's about 5 to 6 inches long I'd say. Because of his age, I feed him 6 out of 7 days a week, with clams on the half shell. However, he is (as expected) extremely aggressive, but I never thought he would be THIS aggressive. He bites and attacks anything in the tank. He has nipped at the live rock, the net I use to fish out shells, the intake and outtake, the water siphon, and his new favorite, the new wave maker cord that I just put in. This scares the crap out of me. I don't want him eating plastic and worst case scenario, getting electrocuted. I'm gonna go down to my LFS to get some crabs or something to hunt and chase. However, I can't constantly feed him. Any suggestions on what I could do?
