Baby shark

It's still an extremely large fish for a hobbyist to keep. If 125's are suggested for medium sized tangs, it's definitely inadequate for a shark.
OF course, but when their quote was in reference to LA calling it a small shark...
Yep u guys got me looking for a bigger tank already what size you think would b additquit for him
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/rubbermaid-structural-foam-stock-tanks-300-gal-capacity not fancy but would make for a cool top down shark tank.

What size tank u think I should rais baby shark in looking for advice

Wow never thought of that good idea economically and good for shark any ideas on how you would set something like that up really got me thinking now

Honestly, those round fiberglass stock tanks are better than a rectangle glass tank. Sharks don't like corners. You can find them in a lot of sizes.
Something like this

I just wanted to thank you... just from scanning the title, I'll have that darned tune in my head all afternoon. Great. Just great.

Nice shark :)

Once upon a time, Shark and Ray Central was the place to go for info on keeping these species. Seems to have migrated to TapATalk... unfortunate. Still, looks like there's lots of info there.

Great idea got any ideas on how to set it up for shark I sure u do acronem

I was going to say. I heard their tanks are supposed to be round as they have tendency of hitting their nose on corners and hurting themselves.

That's correct, round systems work best, they have a tendency to hit their nose on just about anything they're able to.

The plastic pond if probably the best idea. Can grow at a nice pace and have plenty of room to swim. You could then also add a ray or another couple of sharks to the pond.

Following this adventure. Very cool...but you know what would make it better? Video of the little guy eating!

If you have any masonry skills can for a little more do a single pane of glass on an indoor stone pond. Was how I sold an eventual stingray build to my fiancée lol. But cheaper than an entire box made of glass or acrylic.

If going for eventual tank mates the larger system offers some interesting fish you don’t see in the hobby often like a small shoal of blueline snappers. You want to find a happy medium between size, aggression levels, and speed of feeding.
If do keep and go with a large 400-500 gallon System anyway.

Nice shark, in my experience they do better in smaller tanks at first couple months. Start him of with ghost shrimp at night with lights of to get him eating but he won’t eat for first couple days after hatching. Krill, silversides, raw shrimp from store and a hint of garlic will get him fat after! Best of luck
