Funny tho, they do look a little like a tiny mantis. I see fresh molts floating around in the tank sometimes.

If there is a tiger pistol shrimp in your rocks than that there in the pic is dinner lol :)

Youll know it when that tiger is killing something! Are you getting a goby for it?

I have a pistol shrimp of some kind in my tank its been in there since April , iv never seen it in all that time
I know he's their cause every night he's popping away , over time it's got louder aswell so he must be growing

Guy that I got the rock off of. Said he didn't see it for the first month.

He controls the intensity of the pops. Ive heard him snap so loud fro in the other room. Other times its like a tiny snap. I think sometimes its a warning snap other times its a killing pop.

They cant see whats right in front of them. So with no goby you will maybe never see it. The tiger is the larger of the species we can get. Just beware, that they can go rouge and kill the goby without warning. My little yasha got killed well after they established the symbiotic partnership. He then went on to kill both my sexy shrimp. Total assasin!

Even in the pico tank i rarely get to see him now. With a goby youll see him all the time.
