Baby Snail?

Never seen it before until now, so I don't think it was there previously, however I'll check again in the morning.

Saw this examining my 'tank' at night to see if I can find the source of the clicking (mantis or pistol hitchhiker). It's sitting on a curved portion so if it was just an empty shell it should have fallen down.

Looks like a tiny snail. I only have nassarius and, I was told they're nerite, but look more like bumblebee snails to me in this system.

If it's trochus, that's super weird, haven't had any trochus since April, and even then, only had the one.

It has since moved, so whatever it is, definitely alive.
 
Mystery solved!

Baby trochus. I got some rubble rock from a local reefer to seed with coralline (disease free tank), and it came aboard that. He neglected to tell me his snails reproduced. Free snail. Awesome.

Nice! I had my trochus reproduce also. Went from having 4 to 50+. Lol. Nice surprise! You may have more.
