Baby snails, can you have too many?

I regularly have snail eggs on the glass in my tank and have never had anything hatch and grow that I have seen. Tonight I was having a look after lights out and to my suprise, I spotted these little guys all over my rocks.
Is it possible to have too many babies? and what are the odds of them reaching adulthood?

They will self-regulate their population, same with bristleworms and most of your clean up crew.
