Baby urchin

I had a baby urchin pop up today, I don’t know much about urchins but I only have pencils and a tuxedo in the system. This may have come from an order from Bali but I dip everything in bayer and coral rx when it comes in. Maybe it was an egg at that point who knows.

either way, do any of you know if this is going to be a nuisance?

No! He’s a purple sea urchin. People buy them. Just make sure he has enough algae to eat longterm. They are known to decimate tanks them starve to death. https://www.montereybayaquarium.org/animals/animals-a-to-z/purple-sea-urchin
