Went down in my basement late tonight and something caught my eye on my little reef. Anyone got any idea what these things whizzing around are? The are not pods for sure. Tank has a yellow tang, 2 clowns, 2 cardinals, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 coral banded shrimp, a few snails and hermits.

Watched some other videos of hermit larvae and they don’t look to be same shape, especially the bigger that shoots into the video once or twice.

Just curious and any help appreciated!

A couple things come to mind. The swimming pattern reminds me of baby (like larval) bristle worms. Also could be a type of mysid shrimp which are known to come out and swim a lot at night. Hope that helps!
