Baby zebra eel

So a couple of month ago I bought a 5 inch zebra eel, I was just wondering if anyone else ever bought one this small and how long did it take to get some size?

They should be kept in relatively large tanks, around 200 us gallons. Bewars it will grow up to 5 feet. It may just be a defect, and some only grow to 50 centimeters. It is nothing to worry about.

It should be a few years before he gets there I would hope lol he is currently in a 6 foot 140gal.

Yes. He only needs to be it the 200 if he reaches 150 cm. For the size of him now, that tank should be fine lifelong. How old is he?
