My candy cane looks like it’s recedingLooks like tunicate sponge which is a filter feeder

I’m thinking it was flow and light. I moved him lower on a rackOn that issue, some causes would be:
Too much water flow
Too much light
Salinity high or low
Ph low
High nitrate
temp 77-79
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.1-8.3
Nitrate. < ..04
Phosphate < .05
Moderate light and water flow
Feed 2-3x per week
