Welcome!

My family is from Burlingame, they bailed the bay and now we are basically all out in the Sacramento area, except my grandmother who is still there.

We are also into boating. I wake surf and wakeboard. We ride mainly out of Brentwood. I have lots of friends in the Sac area.

Hi my name is Don. I live in Millbrae Ca. I had numerous tanks 20 plus years ago. Started with freshwater aggressive and moved to salt. When I shut everything down 20 years ago. I had a 240 gal Reef next to a 300 Shark/lion and eel tank. The aggressive fish went to Marine World in Vallejo Ca. We shut it all down because we bought a house and were raising 3 kids.

Now the kids have moved out and we have space and time for a tank again.

I am starting small again. I have a 10 gal Nuvio fusion pro sitting on a end table in the living room. Was supposed to be quarantine tank now a mini reef. It has an Tunze ATO, Kessile A360x.

I also have a RSR170. It has a Radion G4 15, Reef Octo150, Co2 scrubber, GFO/Carbon reactor, Trying to get the Aquamaxx rs170(not in stock). I have also added a complete Neptune system (ATK,LDK,PM2(extra probes),DOS, DDR,Trident,Cor20,FMM and multiple optical sensors). I figured I will eventually go bigger so get everything for that now.

Been running a few months now. I found out about REEF 2 REEF from WWC and their Octoberfest. That was an awesome event and talked to a few members on that thread over that weekend. I received my corals yesterday. They are amazing.

I will do a build of what I have going on soon. I need to put all the pictures together. Unfortunately I had hand surgery on 9/30. It did not go as planned, They are going back in on 10-15-20. Had a complication. Trapped tendon.

Well I am looking forward to meeting some reefers in my area and learn what I have missed over the last 20 years.

Thanks in advance to everyone on here.
Don C.
