Back chamber water levels

Hey all
I’m very new to AIO
I’m trying to figure out the water levels In the back chambers of my JBJ 20 gallo

white marks:water level now
Blue : filter sponge
Yellow: carbon , bio balls
Red :heater

now should the water be lower ? Higher or is this level okay ?

That water level is okay.

Yes u r correct. The chamber on the left with your pump will go down as the water evaps.
