Hello I have a chance to buy a back drilled tank. I have a sump setup that was overflow feed. I think I can just put the lines to the back holes but not sure how to connect them and get water to the sump. It's just the tank. So what I'm asking is what would I need to attach to the holes in the tank.

These are the tanks. Only wants 60 a piece. I only need one. I have a sump but it only has 2 hoses. I don't think it's powerful enough to pump all 4. So may need to look at more tanks.

I assume you’re going to be using an external overflow. You’re going to need to make sure you have an overflow that is properly sized for where the holes are drilled so that your water level ends up at an appropriate height.

The tank has spots for a internal flow out. So I would make sure that those are right. I would plug one side as I only need one In and one out.

This is what it looked like.

125 gallon ??

you want to use both overflows, and a valve on your return lines.
if one clogs, will overfill tank, also will allow for more surface skimming ,and flow.

My sump has two lines. One pump draws in to the skimmer then it drops into the sump and another pumps it back to the tank.

what do you mean "about to bust" ?

The top was cracked so the glass was bowing and the seems were coming apart.
you don't want that !!
was going to say check trim ,top and bottom for cracks... ;)
