Hi all, I met some wonderful people and learned about this forum at Reefapalooza NY. I'm in the NW suburbs of Philly. I made some mistakes and lost most of my coral. I'm in the process of quarantine everything back into a new and improved set up and looking forward to it again!

Welcome to R2R. Sorry about the crash. Share a little about the tank that you're recovering.

Tagging along.

I made a lagoon tank out of a deep blue 60 frag tank. I'm upgrading it to a 75 because I found it very difficult to move water at such a shallow depth across a 4 ft tank and have any kind of rock work. My frogspawn, hammer, zoanthids, Kenyan tree, and star polyps made it, but not much else ☹️. Fish wise everything is fine though and after discovering gyre pumps the lagoon may make a comeback!

Welcome to Reef2reef! What caused your tank to crash?

To be honest I had a lot of "things" going on in my life that needed to be fixed and took a lot of my energy. As a result I slacked off on my water changes. I missed some key signs that things weren't right and by the time I figured it out the tank was in a full tailspin.
