Back from the dead Corals

Photo taken just now of a Goni that arrived DOA back in November. I just left it in my tank for the heck of it, and it seems to be wanting to come back to life. Strange. Post your pictures of back-from-the-dead corals.

This one seemed close to death after Tropic Marin Turkish salt debacle. It seems alive and well now, but not pushing back the algae that’s grown on dead skeleton yet. Crossing my fingers!

This one died due to copper in my tank in May. Fixed the issue and now it’s coming back.

How did you get copper in your tank?

I had a brass fitting in the tank for the first year of the tank being up.

How did you find out? Lab test or?

I broke down my tank due to velvet. I went to service my return pump and saw the corrosion. Just connected the dots from there.
