Same price as the old RSCP

i tested with salifert

cal and mag were on par

alk was HIGH, almost 14

that was saltwater that had mixed for an hour
going to test tomorrow with salt that has been mixing for 24 hrs

Do tell Kraylen ...

That picture was snaked from my homie Jake Weston and they printed it out, put it up and didn't tell him... When he found out via a picture on Reefbuilders, he called them out... they sent him a grip of products really quick.

Oops, not cool at all. Hopefully your friend is cool with the products in return!

I like how they tell you what Salinity to keep your corals at and for the Alk way to high for me it would take more then few day of mixing to bring that Alk down to 8 but will wait to see what Holdyourlight gets after testing it again.

Sounds like user error hehe

The target is 12.7, my test was 13.8, not unreasonably far off

Do people really run, or want to run their tanks at an alk of 12?

No
But if your tank uses a lot of alk (and most tanks use alk in much greater proportions than cal and mag), then why wouldn't you want to water change with a high alk salt? requires you to dose less.

Because I run my reef pretty close to normal saltwater param's, which is around 7-8 alk. My Ca Rx does a fine job at maintaining the Alk, mag, Ca. So, I'm not sure it would bennefit someone like me, I would think it would spike during normal water changes.
