Hey Everyone

Back in it! very excited and anxious. I had a 20 ish gallon 8 years ago when first starting the hobby (for 2 years), and got incredibly bad advice from my local shop at the time, (who is no longer open due to bad business) and tank crashed hard couldn't recover fully, lost 2 fish and anemone, so I donated remaining livestock and equipment to a good home (which is flourishing). a few years of on and off research, and my, how information is quite abundant now!

New home, New tank(s), and wiser.. At the time I thought it was a deal but looking more closely... not so much. Got a 144 gallon Half circle tank, sump, and skimmer (all used), and a 16 gallon tank. Going to do a build thread at some point, especially since I have yet to find a half circle tank in here. (5 min search so far lol) But turns out skimmer doesn't skim, and inside glass all scratched up since dummy left sand on magfloat.. smh... waiting for amazon to deliver polishing kit and I got to build myself a temp step stool to get up into the tank. (stand 40") Very excited, to start polishing then aquascaping and cycling (after a viniger run then a wet run). my 16 gallon is already cycled but im in the market for a small skimmer for that as well (after i get the big momba taken care of) I failed to join any forum before and already best decision ive made was to join after already learning something new since registering this morning.

I look forward to participating and sharing with the community as I continue to grow more comfortable in my lost love of a hobby. Thank you in advance for all the help and tips. Happy Reefing

Welcome to R2R and welcome back to the salt. A friend of mine used to have a half moon and it was really attractive. Can't wait to see what you do with yours.
