Well I started reefing about 20 years ago. About 8 years ago too many things were going on to keep it going successfully, so gave away most of my equipment and stock and scaled way back. For the last couple years I've been running nothing but a 20 gallon long that was woefully neglected as the home for my last remaining clownfish. Surprisingly the hammers, frogspawn and softies have thrived throughout it all. Recently my interest perked up, and I invested in a Nuvo 40. I moved the contents of the 20 over to it and am starting to learn it all back over again. Its too bad all the local saltwater shops are gone now, but Im just over an hour to NoVa or Richmond, so after the tank is a bit better established Ill be seeing if I can get my clownfish a partner. His (now a her I am sure) mate is long gone. He (she) used to be the smaller male of a matched pair, but by now I am assuming is a female. Now to find a store with a juvenile true perc and attempt the pairing. I'm sure I'll be speaking with you guys more in the future, but thanks for being here!
