Hello everyone,
I recently decided to start my saltwater tank back up.... Really excited about this . But this isn't like riding a bike. There is so much I've forgotten and so much I'm learning. My first post will just be on a few goodies (hopefully) I found hitchhiking on the live rock I purchased. I have a few photos and if anyone can tell me what they are and if they are good or bad that would be great! Thanks in advance and I'm so excited to start this amazing hobby again. I can get better photo if needed, and once the water clears a bit I'll attach a few more photos. THANK AGAIN!!!

Welcome home, you will love it here!

I have no idea what that is but it doesn't look like mojano nor aiptasia to me, the two more common things you wouldn't want! :)

Yeah I know, those I can spot in a heartbeat! These are just spreading pretty fast and without a little background on them I don't want to let them take over if you know what I mean. Thanks for your reply

Welcome to R2R, the best forum on the planet!
Hopefully it's just a filter feeder. The last photo looks like a sponge.
That's what I've found from my research, so far sounds harmless and will not harm anytime. Just a good ol filter feed.... that is can handle :)

Welcome to R2R. :-)

The ball tip anemone/Pseudocorynactis will only get out of control if you over feed the tank. With both ID's I would not intervene. I do not consider Pseudocorynactis to be a pest anemone like Aiptasia or Majano.
