Hi guys. I shutdown my 150g about 3 years ago. Decided to get back in. This time with a 7ft 325g tank. Tank will be mainly softies and LPS. I plan on using a 6ft tank as my sump. I have a skimmer in mind already. But my main concerns are Lights and powerheads/wavemakers. I really like the design of the MP40s but would like to know how the competition compares. Is it worth it to just get one or two or even the MP60... And for lights, I haven't ventured into LEDs so I am clueless on those. Since I don't plan on keeping SPS, what are some decent lights or applications for a 7 ft tank. How are chinese lighs/powerheads? I know they are cheaper but should I just get the premium equipment or try some chinese equipment? Thanks.

so my understanding is you have 3 main questions

I dont know enough about powerheads to give any advice but I've heard a lot of people using the MP line so it seems its holding up to others expectations

And for lights, I haven't ventured into LEDs so I am clueless on those. Since I don't plan on keeping SPS, what are some decent lights or applications for a 7 ft tank.
IMO AI Prime HD is great as well as the Hydras but they are pricy.
picking lights comes down to 3 main choices
T5 or LED or both
Price range
What model

Ive heard that they work well initially but they fail pretty quickly due to cheaper materials so id go with the premium equipment
