Howdy! Names J.P. and I’m glad to be back in the hobby after a 3ish yr hiatus. I got my first reef tank about 15yrs ago. Started with a 55gal quickly got addicted and upgrades to a 120gal and then a 180gal. All of those have since been taken down and sold. Many lessons learned, heart break, highs and lows along the way but I’ve never stopped loving the hobby.

I currently have a 45gal AIO Red Sea cube. I was very hesitant about the size of the tank but I’ve come to learn that bigger is not always better and there are many advantages to a smaller cube. So far I am very happy with this tank.

The tank has been up and running since December 2019 and am happy to report that it is doing quite well with a few exceptions I still have to figure out. Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

inhabitants include
clowns
Starry Blenny
Banggaii Cardinal
Aiptasia eating file fish
Yellow watchman goby
Pistol shrimp
Helfrichi Firefish
Red blooded cleaner shrimp
Peppermint shrimp
Emerald crabs
Hermit crabs

Beautiful reef JP, Welcome to R2R!!!
Thank you! I’ve changed a lot of my fish and coral introduction methods. QT dips etc. Which have been giving me great results. It’s also my first tank with any type of controller. Now I can’t even imagine having a tank without one haha just makes maintaining stable parameters so much easier
