Back into it after 17 years!

Hello all! I’m going to try and start this build thread. So I’ll start here and seeing as how it’s been 17 years since last tank I hope this goes faster! I have limited time to work on the setup and it started LAST Christmas when my family gave me a bucket of salt, a power head, net, a heater and a gift certificate to a LFS to nudge me along! 6 months later I went to Reef-a-palooza NY and was overwhelmed and dove in with Neptune equipment. The tank that was stored for 17 years is now on a stand I built and let the plumbing begin!

Well it’s been a long process but worth the wait! The stand and top is done, scape is done and water is in! The plumbing was a challenge but did the best I could for a weekend warrior(or every third weekend in my case). I’m starting with a fish less cycle and will be patient. My wife and daughter keep asking “when can we add fish”! We’ll do some window shopping for the next week or so. Have to tidy up the wires in the sump room which is in the basement.
