back mount AI SOL "ho hang" thanks

I would love to see some as well. Have you thought about the rack that rest across the rim of the tank?

If you click on my 112 Rimless build link in my signature you will see how I mounted mine.

Stp, Great idea with the conduit. Did you just fasten that to your stand I would guess? I have customers ask me the best way to mount them also since alot of people dont wanna hang them from the ceiling.

i used a 3/4" conduit pipe. Total cost about $1.50. I love it so far.

I actually mounted them to the wall. I have a little room to adjust them up and down as I need to. The reason I mounted them on the wall and not the stand is because I have a light blue background I need to be able to pass a cleaning magnet between the tank and the rails. I think the hanner cost about $15 in parts from HD. I also sprayed them silver to finish them off. Let me know if you need some close up shots.

+1 on wall mount

Mine would shake a little from walking. Nothing serious but I am picky and just did not like the idea of it. Switched it to the wall and now it stays a lot more steady. I spray painted mine with white enamel and added an endcap. Debating on drilling a hole and running the a/c cord through it.
