hey guys,
I have a mixed reef but am working my way to an sps dominant system. my tank is a 120g standard and I currently run xf250 gyres on either end. the flow is strong but I feel like to get the truly random and sps friendly effect I'm going for I could use a couple of pumps on the back wall.
would a couple mp10's cover that or do I need to go with mp40's?

120 sps dominant I'd do the 40 :)

With the new controller you can set up to 24 pre-sets and variable flow patterns.

You already have substantial flow for an SPS tank. Two more pumps may work against the gyre effect you already have. SPS like flow but within a range you should already be in. I would only add more pumps if you are finding dead zones between rock.
