Anemone?
Coral?
Some type of alien life form?
Cant decide what this little guy is. Just noticed it attached to a piece of rubble on the bottom in a low flow low light area of the tank.
It appears to have small singular polyps around the outer perimeter that open and close with aggitation, and feelers or tendrils around the center.

It does move as one mass, and seems to be mostly transparent.
I have not added anything in the last few months since I am running the tank through a fallow period.

Sorry forgot to add photo

It's hard to tell from the picture. Does it look like this?

Not really, its consistent size and shape. The polyps almost resemble ones on a leather or toadstool, but it looks like there may be a center mouth in the middle of the circle of polyps.

I've watched pods crawl over them without any effect either.

Tunicate??
I havent looked into tunicstes yet, I will do some searching!
Almost looks like a baby rock flower nem.
That's what I was thinking originally. But I havent ever added any anemones, not purposefully anyway.
Do they usually grow slow? That might explain why I'm just now seeing it now.
