The pumps should run on any power supply. You could figure out what the bare minimum you need in a true emergency and only put those on the battery. Like 1 heater, 1 pump and 1 LED. I color coded my power cables with electrical tape so I know which to connect if there is a power outage. Helps a ton if I am out of town and someone else has to do it. Another trick I learned is you can use a lamp timer for the pump to extend battery. It doesn't need to be on all the time.Thanks for the info that is what i will do i think.
