I just upgraded to a 75 gallon fish only with a 30 gallon sump. I’ve had most of my live stock for 4 years and I want to avoid any problems if there’s a power outage. What do you guys recommend I do for backup power?

How many times did you lose power over the last 4 years?

A generator and about 10 - 15 gallons of ethanol free gas in storage containers. It's the only option for long term power outages and by long term I mean more than 24 hours.

I just moved into a new house which is why I upgraded so I’m unaware how often power may or may not go out. Just trying to be proactive.
Maybe worthwhile to find out from a new neighbor about past power outages. Are you in an area that frequently looses power or a very stable area? The answer should dictate your backup solution.
