Does anyone have their ENTIRE system (heater, lights, pumps, skimmer, etc) on a backup power?

I’m looking into building something similar to this:

https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/diy-universal-battery-backup-for-your-reef.366009/

But based on this write up I would need one heck of a power supply to do it...

just curious if anyone has done it. I would love to just connect my entire power strip into it and be done. rather than having just my essential items hooked up into it and my non essential on my power strip.

I personally only have backup running for the powerheads as I can't remember a time In my life the power stayed off for more than 5 hours. if I was concerned about being prepared for longer I would probably favour a generator over a complex battery setup.

I agree, I can’t think of a time when it happened. Guess I’m just being over paranoid. That one weekend I go out of town and something happens.
