so my Royal gramma been acting funny I don't see ich but I went from feeding once every other day to twice a day everyday with garlic and vitamin foods to boost immunity for the other fish just in case. and i set off a bacteria bloom.

I put an air stone in there. And I pointed my koralia up for more surface agitation.

Fish aren't lethargic coral are open. I've been researching and finding people battling this for months on end.
It isn't to the point where you can't see into the tank it's just as if I poured some milk in there.

Im running Chemipure elite. A skimmer. Purigen. And activated carbon pack.
I'm going back to my every other day feeding. I replaced filter floss. Washed and dried filter socks.

Some say water changes make it worst some say they make it better. Some say run a UV sterilizer.

Anything else I should do ?

Ammonia nitrite 0 nitrate under 5.
2 clowns 1 Royal gramma who's caused me nothing but problems and a fire fish.
Lots of coral. Mostly LPS. Some SPS and some softies but LPS dominated. Oh and 2 maxi mini carpet nems.

If it is a bacteria bloom, just ride it out. water changes might make you feel good, but I'm not sure if it would have an impact on the bloom. most likely not. just keep watching your fish and look for odd or erratic behavior. save your money and stop with the garlic and vitamins. :)

Lol the food I use has garlic and vitamins in it. I just fed it a lot to boost immunity.

And I hate doing water changes. If it ain't gonna help I ain't doin it.
