Hello Everyone, happy water change day for some of you. I have a quick question regarding a bacteria bloom. I have one in full swing right now and was just wondering if there were any tips on how to get rid of it faster. I realized it was because I didn’t have enough rock in there. Added about 40 lbs so I’m sure that will help. Anything else?

I'm sure theres some kind if chemical/biological/snake oil in a bottle you could add, but I'd say just reduce lighting and let it run its course.

like dugthefish said, cut the lighting and feeding and let it consume whatever its consuming and it'll go away in a few days. Don't do a water change and If its really bad add a airstone. Or if you are really impatient get UV.
