Hi everyone! I have started the cycle on my new tank three weeks ago. I began with a fishless cycle and last week the ammonia levels have finally reached zero. However, my nitrites are 4+ and nitrates 100+. I also have very cloudy water which I believe could be a bacteria bloom. After these finding I did a 20% water change with no change in nitrites, nitrates, and water clarity. I also have started dosing microbacter7 per instructions. Is there anything else I should be doing to help bring things back to normal? Or, should I just let it run it’s course?

Let it ride.

It is a brand new system. Anything more than a moderate water change will just delay things for you. On the chance that it is something other than a bacterial bloom, you could add a bunch of filter floss to help clean it out.
