My water has been really cloudy for about a week. It was worse and improved some throughout the week. Tank is about 3 months old. I have been battling Cyano for the last couple weeks. It has been slowly going away any ideas? 60 gal cube.

I agree that it looks like a bloom. We promptly added a UV light when this happened and have never looked back. Any ability to do that for you?

Not a lot you can do. Just make sure there is lots of surface agitation and/or add an air stone to the display. Bacterial blooms can kill everything quickly due to oxygen deprivation. Usually this will run it's course and go away in a week or so. You can add a UV sterilizer if you have access to one, and it will clear up quickly.

Yeah I could pick up a one from Petco tomorrow. Was trying to wait it out but it’s been a week with very little improvment. Went through another one about 3 weeks ago but it cleared in a day or 2. I am thinking with blowing the Cyano off my rocks and sand bed I must have kicked something up? My weekly water change yesterday did absolutely nothing. Could low nitrates have anything to do with it?
Thanks
