bacteria bloom

first if this isn't the right forum I oppalogize. noticed last night my ph dropped drastically. I increase the water agitation and got it back up. went down and looked at the tank and it is really cloudy. running new water and mixing a new batch of salt water now for a wc. what else is recommended to do? carbon? chemi clean? here is a pic of my apex of the drop in ph.

Did something accidentally get added? An organic material? A kids ice cream cone (it happened)?

I personally wouldn't do anything except try to understand why it happened.
