Bacteria

I don't see any connection between pods and bacteria
Aren’t pods part of an established tank? I see pods in my friends 3 month old tank.
It would make sense they would have to be introduced somehow, but it seems everyone I see or know just HAS them. I would expect to see atleast one of my tank was as far as it is

We were talking about bacteria, I thought that was conflating issues is all.

Well, if my tank isn’t established enough to have any kind of pod population then that would imply it isn’t as established with the present micro fauna as would be expected from this time period.

To be fair you went off topic before I did, asking about the exact age of the tank when my question was about the red slime Remover removing beneficial bacteria from the tank. Age would not matter to answer my question, neither would it matter to answer my second question about what liquid bacteria would be best to dose IF the red slime remover did do that, being an antibiotic.
