Hello. under blues there is a red glowing matt of this stuff on my sand bad, localized to the back left of my tank under whites they look kinda brown pinkish. I tried to siphon it out and add a powerhead to see if this work, if anything it made it worse haha. My test is as follows
Salinity: 1.027
PH: 7.89-8
Temp 79
Alk: 8.67
Cal: 436 (shop says it 457)
Magnesium: 1503
Nitrates: 1
Phos: 0.079
Ammonia/nitrites 0

The tank isnt the cleanest, especially the back and side glass as shown in the picture but I do have a fuge with lettuce in there as well as a fuge light. my lights are on from 9 am, peaks between with whites on for a few hours then blues from 3-6 then the lights turn off.

I feed my tank once a day in the morning with frozen Mysis and a small piece of dried seaweed for the tangs

It does look worse than the picture btw.

Here are my inhabitants
Sailfin tang and Scopus tang
2 Clown fish
six-line wrasse
Midas blenny
Lawn mower blenny

My tank is a redsea 525 XL, all the coral looks fine and happy otherwise, attached pictures

Another question...is there anything that eats it? I like to go the natural way of this hobby.
