Bacterial bloom?

Would a nopox overdose cause a bacterial bloom?if so..why?my water became extremely cloudy for days and is now crystal clear.

Is nitrate elevated? Is that why you added it?
How much are you dosing?

It wasnt Nitrates...I refilled my nopox container and my apex dosing was incorrect and when i checked back a few days later the container was mostly empty and the tank was clouded up badly.
nothing died and now the water is cleaner than ever

Let me back up.

Why did you have a NOPOX container? Were you dosing it due to nitrate being elevated?

I dose small amounts of Nopox as regular maintenace to keep nitrates low and algae at bay
