Greetings all,
I've had this PJ Cardinalfish for about 2-3 weeks now. If you look closely, on his tail, the lower portion, there is a white spot that has developed. Cannot tell if it is his coloration or an infection. He also has a small white "pimple" on his mouth, which he has had since I got him. No concern at first but now that I've noticed the white spot on the tail, its made me think twice. No other spots on this fish or any of my others (Pair of True Percs, Fairy Wrasse, Blue Damsel). The PJ is eating, though he could be eating more, but isnt super active, he mostly chills in the corners. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!!
I did dose Mela and Pimafix one time, at the recommended dosage, exactly 24 hours ago. I do not want to repeat because my corals and skimmer hate it, but will if necessary. No qt at the moment unfortunately.
The tank runs at -
78 temp
1.024 salinity
10ish nitrates (bringing down)
0-.25 phophates (cant tell for sure, API)
400 calcium (slowly bring up, along with alk)
7.5 alk
7.8 pH
6 gallon weekly wc
