Bacterial infection on Angelfish

I have an angel still in QT that has been through 35 days of copper at 2.5ppm, 2 doses of Prazipro 8 days apart and unfortunately he now has a bacterial infection. Red sores on both sides of the body and frayed fins.

He has been in trifecta (nitrofuracin powder, Kanaplex, and metro) for 3 days. Giving daily 90 minute ruby reef and 30 minute NFG bath and then transferring to sterile tank every day... but It hasn't improved????

Am I taking the right course of action here?

antibiotics I have on hand are Enrofloxacin, NeoPlex, sulfaplex, rally, and NFG.

He is eating and is playful when I come to the tank

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, I don't want to lose him!

Did you mean Nitrofurazone or Nitrofuracin Green?

The trifecta is Nitrofurazone, metronidazole, and kanamycin (kanaplex).

Nitrofuracin Green is Nitrofurazone, Sulfathiazole, and Methylene Blue mixed.

Metronidazole only works on anaerobic bacteria or protozoans. The chances of encountering an anaerobic bacterial infection in fish is exceedingly low.

KanaPlex is dosed at < 2 mg/L when veterinary references recommend 50-100 mg/L. Reports of it working are scant. All the other Seachem antibiotics are probably old, ineffective, and also under-dosed.

Nitrofuran is light sensitive and likely not absorbed from water so it's not recommended in freshwater. It might be effective in saltwater fish since they drink but a 30 min bath probably isn't long enough.

Enrofloxacin would be my choice and it's also the front line antibiotic for many fish vets. Just be sure to use the correct dose.

35 days of copper or coppersafe ? What test kit did you use to monitor copper ?
I see fin ray damage or bacteria as well as a couple of spots. Bacterial is the likelihood and I am curious as to your levels for:
ammonia
nitrate
salinity

What test lits are you using ?

Kanaplex or rubt rally proshould have addressed this and would be my choice., nad am looking at water qualityas possible contributor.

That the fish is still eating and reactive is a good sign, since that second picture could show Uronema (but then the fish would be showing other symptoms).

Was the prazi treatment before or after the copper treatment?

Antibiotics often take 5 days to slow progression of an issue.

I used copper power. There were never any signs of parasites, I used as preventative.

I use water from my display which is pristine. I have been conducting baths as mentioned and then transferring into sterile aquarium with 100% new water everyday. Water quality isn't the culprit here.

I would feed metro in food and or dose in tank due to uronema may be the red slot you are seeing. Also angels don't do well with copper and some of it could be a side reaction to it.
I would remove everything from the tank (medication wise) and only keep a broad spectrum antibiotic in and metro in food. Let it recover over 7 to 10 days to see what happens
