Bacterial infection?

It certainly does look like it got beat up. The injuries can get infected and the stress from beatings can make it worse. Of course, there could be other reasons such as parasites behind it all. I just can't tell anything else from those pictures. Right now I'm only sure of it being in bad shape and having an infection going on.
Will qt right away, this is the first time I will be treating a fish, guess it had to happen some day.

I'm wondering if this isn't something else coupled with an infection. I really need a picture to tell you any more. Try to get a close up, clear and in focus picture. We'll do our best to help!
I'm having trouble getting the medication stuff at my LFS as they sold out and is waiting for shipment. Meanwhile I thought I could run this idea by you.

The clownfish are paired and used to sleep together near an anemone, but to give it more light I moved it up on my rocks. Ever since the move the little one moved with the nem but the larger one wouldn't leave the corner to get to the nem. The spot is very close to where the coral beauty sleeps. I am getting a new nem today, thought I might put the new nem there with another light fixture to see if it calms the clownfish down.

Right now I see my coral beauty actually swim up to the clownfish and both of them swim around together side by side.

What do you think of this remedy? I hope to have it like that until I can get the medication I need for the qt.

Thanks for helping

I'm not sure if that will help with the aggression or not. Once a clown claims a territory they tend to just stay there. You could try rearanging your rock work all together.

Just a friendly update, I've moved the nems back to the clownfish's spot. They both now have a nem to live in and they are happy. I also blocked off the back of their area so they don't constantly meet with the coral beauty.

The coral beauty fins are much more attached together and healing well. The spots on the cheeks and gills are gone and the white spots on the fins are also gone.

I think I might have just done a successful intervention. I'll keep lookout for the next few days, I am lucky I took some vacation days to lounge at home so I now I have time to observe them.

Thanks again for your help. This is actually the second post you helped me in.

I'm glad he's doing better for you. Keep a close eye on him. Hopefully he can heal on his own for you. Oh and anytime! Help is what we are here for.
