Thanks so much for keeping it current! I know lots of hobbyists benefit from this info!

Great Posts from Humblefish. My issue is i have one marine betta that is the sole survivor of an ice wipeout in my DT. (lesson learned) He has been in a 40 gallon breeder for over 76 days. Copper was run at 1.00-1.25, then upped to 2.0 for 30 days after which i did 50% water change. Was about to put back in DT, when i noticed a torn pectoral fin, all the way to the base, with some very slightly opaque markings on fringe. i have done 10 days of Kanaplex. Does not look any worse. With his coloring and behavior it is very hard to get a good look at him. I was about to remedicate with poly guard and metroplex. (furan 2 not avail), but my gut tells me the stress of all this is almost worse than the treatment. I can tell by his behavior that the fish is stressed. Only abnormality on him that I see is the torn fin and the opaqueness that is very very slight at this point, but i cannot tell if it is better than before. Thoughts on continued treatment versus stress on the fish?

Thanks to any that reply.

Can you treat metro / kanalfex and mix with focus to treat my reef tank instead of removing fish?

I know it's fin rot, and I won't be able to remove fish, so was wondering if I can use focus to bind to frozen foods and feed the fish that way?
