For those with SPS dominant tanks that are ULN, have you ever experienced bacterial mulm like in the attached picture?

I’ve tried a few remedies and haven’t had any luck. I’m currently trying KZ Bio-Mate and Hydrogen Peroxide dosing daily. KZ BIo-Mate has been dosing for 2/3 weeks now. Hydrogen Peroxide dosing started yesterday.

The mulm does not seem to be bothering my SPS, but it is just a visual nuisance.

For those that may be wondering before giving a recommendation that I may not have enough flow, I want to preface and say that I don't think flow is an issue here because I'm running 2 MP40s at about 40% with a wide flow adapter, so I don't believe flow is an issue. Additionally, the tank is only a 50g IM AIO.

I've also been running a UV from the beginning, and that doesn't seem to help eradicate it either.

Any advice?

can you rule out precipitation? that actually looks kinda like what abiotic precipitation on GHA would look like.
To check, if you suck up the white fluffy stuff, a little bit of acid will dissolve it if it's precipitation, not if it's bacterial.

Hi, When I suck it up it doesn't dissolve it just resettles elsewhere.

If it is precipitation, what kind of acid are we talking about?

Only Carbon source I have would be Chemipure Blue. Originally I had rowaphos in there but I removed it.
He is referring to organic carbon sources such as N0P0X, vodka, vinegar, sugar etc.

Just covering the sucked up white material in vinegar should show it dissolving if it were precipitation.
