Good morning,

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with Omega One Super Veggie Green Seaweed? I have a 180 gallon tank stocked with a Blue Hippo Tang, Purple Tang, Tomini Tang, Sailfin Tang, and a powder blue Tang along with a Christmas wrasse, two clownfish, 3 chromis, a niger trigger and a fox face. For over a year, I have been using this brand everyday. They absolutely love the seaweed. However, I noticed that the seaweed in this box I bought, was really stiff and crunchy, something that I have never noticed before in a year or using the product everyday. Now, my fish will pick at it, and not finish a half of a sheet, when they would devour one sheet in 5 minutes. Has anyone had this problem before? Should I be concerned about a “bad batch of nori”? Anything helps

All fish are happy and healthy and eating perfectly fine

I recently fed my tangs a package of Omega One seaweed like that, stiff and crunchy. The package was about a year old though. I bought it awhile ago and forgot I had it. My tangs still devoured all the seaweed lol. How old was the seaweed you bought?

I bought it right off the shelf at my LFS, and expires in 2021. Definitely a weird experience

It could be a bad batch, I guess.

Crunchy and stiff would indicate its dry no?
