I’m looking for hitchhiking crabs that are considered nuisances. I have a pest tank set up and I’m looking for the mean little guys that look awesome.

If anyone has any LFS near them that has one, I will pay you to buy the mantis and ship it too me? I can’t find a single mantis in West Virginia

Man I just pulled 2 gorilla crabs out last week. I have 1 more pest crab if you are interested... issue will be shipping it to you... probably costly.

What does he look like? I’m mainly trying to look for the more unique hitchhiker crabs that people find. Is he the normal bland black color? Or more colorful and strange?

The one I caught and threw in the sump was red. I’ll see if I can find him and get a good
Picture.

A red crab would be awesome. Unless it’s just a red mithrax crab. I’ll be willing to pay the shipping and whatever price you put on him. If you also have any other hitchhikers that you wouldn’t mind getting rid of just tell me. I’ll take literally anything. It’s meant to be a pest tank. So like majano nems or anything else would be cool too.

Found a different one and caught him today. It is hard to tell from the photo but he is actually red and kind of pretty... he's just getting pretty big for my tank. That is a red solo cup he is in, so you can see how bi he is.

Just so you know, that’s a good crab for you. That’s a red Mithrax crab most likely. Search up red mithrax crab. They are good for your tank. They eat algae.
