Bad day for the reef tank. I need advice

So over the past 24 house I have lost both of my clown fish. I noticed late at night they were growing white discoloration spots. I can only assume this was ich but to be fare I wasn't sure. Due to the time of night I discovered this and the fact that I look at everything inside my reef daily this was a very new occurrence. I figured I would have at least till morning to remove the fish from the tank and start working on possible treatments. I was completely incorrect. They both have appear to have died.

Now here's the issue. I can only find one body (at the very bottom of the rock structure) and they were fairly small fish. The only fish I have left is a diamond goby. Some inverts still remain. And the tank is pretty heavily stocked with coral. Its a 60 gallon cube with a 24 gallon stump. I'm going to be fishing out the one once I get home. But is it the end of the world that I cannot find the second one?

In a morbid sense, if your cleanup crew consists of detrivores, the problem will resolve itself. Especially if the fish was small.

If it was a white discoloring and it killed that fast I would guess velvet or Brook over ich.
