Really sucks to hear, I've always felt "immune" to something that hasn't happened to me. I'll say, "I don't need a ground" then with my luck this would happen... GL with everything and hope you have a smooth recovery. "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" is what all reefers need to live by and I'm so guilty of not!

Well, sorry for your loss. As a result of reading yours and a couple other tragic posts related to voltage leaking I just installed a grounding probe on my tank. Wish you luck.
