So I found my rhomboid wrasse this morning dried and dead on top of the mesh screen that's supposed to keep him in the tank. There's a small gap at the back of the tank that he apparently found. I just removed my LED's yesterday which were attached to the tank which prevented me from extending the screen completely across the tank. I had planned to redo my screen this weekend...

So how to you top off a day like that? Download pictures from the camera's flash card only to find pictures of your favorite fish hours before he died. :(

RIP friend

Sorry to hear, I bet we could all tell a similar story. Probably doesn't make it any better though. Fix the screen, and a new year and a new start is really close.

Feel your pain and I'm sorry for your loss. Fish seems to find the darnest ways to jump out.

I know your pain, I lost my pair during maintenance and I didn't notice the gap I left and they both jumped on top of the screen. I was so mad. It will get better!

Sorry to hear it have been in the same postion. Lost a wrasse the same way, I had a half inch gap to allow for my led goose neck mount. My new system my leds will be hung and the tank cover will cover 100%.
