:sure:Well we had a bad fishy. Our coral beauty turned on us.It was eating, picking at several corals in my 210gal.It was almost to the point of disassembling the tank to get it out.Tammy found a design for a fish trap online. It works,we caught almost every fish in the tank but the one we needed to.Finally last night we got it!It now lives in the sump with a snowflake eel someone brought me,with out asking and a domino damsel with an attitude problem. So now that the problem is gone I can begin to nurse some of my corals back to good health. We did lose one whole colony of rose millipora before catching the fish.Lesson learned:crossedlips:

You know, dwarf angels are really hit or miss. Most of them are fine but certain individuals can be a problem. We've got a Coral Beauty in one tank that as far as I can tell has never bothered anything. We've had it since June 2006. It might start picking on thing tomorrow but for now it's fine.

The next time I need to get a fish out I'm going to try the fish hook method. From all I can read it takes longer to tell about it than it takes to catch the fish. They don't seem to be harmed by the "catch and release" experience.

I had thought about a blow gun!!!Figured I would hit the wrong fish with my aim.LOL

I had an eibel angel (sp) for ages that I loved but after it moved on I had several corals that improved and grew that had never done well so even though I thought he was not bothering them I now feel sure he was.

I have seen some open that was'nt for a while today. All my parameters in tank were great but corals were losing color.Have good bulbs and all, now I think I found the problem. It wiped out part of one of my favorite monti's.I hope it will come back.

I hope you're right about that. I know you have been frustrated trying to figure out what the problem was. Let's hope it's all over now.

I hope so.My computer has not had it's coffee this morning. This is the second time I have tried to reply.I have also started using two part from bulk reef supply.I have seen acouple of tanks really turn around so I thought I would try it.I also just got a new 4 stage RO/DI unit.Needless to say I stood a chance to lose more $ than I just spent. Thanks to the last swap I was able to invest this.
