These rocks and the ployps and blue cloves are beautiful. However, both of these species are very highly invasive and can quickly take over your entire tank. They are almost impossible to eradicate. Shame on the guy that sold them to you at bargain prices. He knew what he was doing by getting rid of those rocks. Search here on R2R under "blue cloves" and you will see what I mean.

And those green palys are pretty toxic, so be very careful with them.

Im aware of all of what you said. Thanks for the advice though. I've never had a problem with BSPs killing any other corals or choking anything out. I rather like the look of them, but I guess every tank is different. As far add the palys Im very aware how dangerous they are. They put my friend in the hospital. Usually when they are out of water though. I still take great care in handling them. I know Ill have my hands full in fragging, but that's the plan to keep the palys at bay.

Ya... He almost died... His wife forbids him to frag them now without full arm gloves and goggles... He had a cut on his knuckles and the toxin got in his bloodstream that way.

Looks like I won't be attaching any zoas to the primary rockwork then.

Some good reading

This was just palys.. BUT I did read an article about a guy in Alaska that dropped a small frag of zoas on the floor of his room when he was transferring them to his tank. Apparently later that night he and his roommates ended up in the hospital from a toxic "visible mist" the zoas excreted... They shared a mobile home, he was the worst of them because the tank was in his room. Just saying...lol
