Well the bad move for the day has already happened so lets hope this is the only one this week.
In one of our stock tanks I have(maybe had) a extra lg sebea anenome for our new bonded GSM Clowns.Well this morning went in to check on them and guess who was on the K-3.Yeap the anenome.I had to cut out several pieces of the power head to remove it.As of now it is still alive,a little smaller however. It has attached to the bottom of the tank and the clowns are encouraging it to come back to them.Thel loved their nem so lets hope it pulls through.

That's about par for the course with anemones and powerheads. It took mine about 6 years. It sat on one rock for that long and one morning it was in the powerhead. It spit little pieces of tenticles all over the tank. Four fish were dead.

I have heard that if it's just stuck in the strainer you can turn the powerhead off and let it come off by itself.

Good luck.

Well I have done two water changes so far.It cut it up some, the idea of turning the power head off was passed before I found it.The anenome is or was at least 12" not sure how big now.It has been tring to regroup but I think to much damage was done.
