Bad News?

OK I let some of these grow way to long before fraggin and they become Zoa balls in a sense? Have a nery small amount of substrate stuck to the bottom of a Zoa ball that is the size of a Basebal? The bottom polyps stretch super far!

SO anyway my problen is that when I cut or tear thease guys apart and try to reglue them to a plug they melt away?

Is the brown a fungus? If so it always seems to be there before I frag?

I think i would dip them in lugols, are furan 2 FAST

Try a dip (I use fw and iodine). They look like they are being irritated by maybe some kind of external parasite/predator. In the past when I was cursed with nudis my zoos ended up like that (well only the really brightly colored expensive ones).
