I recently ordered 18 frags online and was less than impressed with the quality and condition of the order (I'm not going to name the company presently because I'm trying to negotiate a settlement, but to give you an idea of what happened, six of the corals of different species were unattached and came without plugs in a single 3x3 inch sealed bag despite the website showing pictures of attached corals and the website policy saying each coral ships in a separate bag.)
As I'm trying to get a partial credit for this, I'm also noticing that one of the frags that did come individually floated on a plug is looking odd. It's supposed to be a bright green candy coral, yet it's drab brown with not a hint of green. We're going on three days now without a change in color. Is it normal for green candy cane coral to "go brown" like this? Do I just need to wait for it to acclimate? Or did they send me a brown candy cane rather than a green one. I've tried all kinds of different lighting, but it's just brown. Tonight, I noticed that it has some tentacles out, which leads me to think I have a brown candy cane (not a green). Thoughts?
